An exciting opportunity has become available at Bell Truck and Van, we are recruiting a Parts Delivery Driver to join our busy team at our Team Valley depot.
We strive to the be absolute best and offer our customers the highest level of service. This role will be working within the Parts department to help with the smooth and efficient running of the department. Your part of this will be collecting and delivering parts to customers and between depots and ensure efficient delivery of all parts orders to our customers around the North East.
Key duties:
- To deliver all goods in line with predetermined delivery schedules
- To accept all parts returns from customers and issue good return notes and pass on all parts to parts advisors
- To complete daily delivery sheets for each visit and obtain a customer signature for the receipt of the good/ invoice, and payments
- To accept customer orders as required and pass onto parts department
- To highlight any shortages or damaged items to the Parts Supervisor and ensure that the missing items are found and loaded/ to arrange for invoices to be amended.
- To ensure that the company vehicle is maintained in line with both company and legal requirements, ensuring that any mechanical problems or accidental damage is reported immediately.
- To meet and greet and handle the customers in a prompt, helpful, pleasant and efficient manner. Always maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- To carry out any other duties as may be required by the company in order to assist the company in achieving its objectives.
- To work safely and efficiently within the company’s Health and Safety policy.
- To carry out all duties in an efficient and courteous manager and ensure all queries are dealt with promptly
- To attend company meetings and training courses as and when appropriate
- To ensure that all paperwork associated with the department is completed correctly and passed to the correct department on time
- To adhere to time schedules and all targets where appropriate
- To ensure that all goods are delivered as required.
