You will take part in the Mercedez Benz fast track sales programme and will learn to drive a class 1 truck and trailer. You will continue to receive training during your career with us as we offer the latest cutting-edge technology in our trucks.
About the Company:
Bell Truck and Van/ BLS Truck and Van are Mercedes-Benz franchised dealers working across 6 sites with the state-of-the-art head office based at the Team Valley Gateshead. At each of our facilities, our staff are experienced professionals who specialise in providing support to businesses of all shapes and sizes.
We supply new and used trucks and vans, but we also offer an array of aftersales services, this includes overnight vehicle servicing and MOTs, genuine parts and more!
Where?
- We have an opening to join the Bells’ team based at one of the sites located across the North of England (Newcastle, Billingham, Spennymoor, Stockton, Halifax).
- We have an opening at our Aberdeen site where you will be part of the BLS Team
Your main duties include:
- To sell commercial vehicles as targeted within established areas at or above pre-determined gross profit margins
- To achieve or exceed agreed sales targets
- To prospect for new business within areas of influence on a weekly basis and update records/ database
- To issue weekly itineraries with planned activities and appointments as agreed with by line manager
- To follow up on all new and existing sales leads within a timescale set by your line manager
- To record all sales enquiries onto the CRM system.
- To always adhere to company policy and work within those parameters to process and monitor orders and liaise regularly with Sales Admin to ensure that deadlines are met. Ensure you keep the customer updated with progress of their order and any delays to arrange deliveries/ handover to company/ MB guidelines.
- To ensure payment has been made in line with company policy
- Attending promotions, company meetings and training courses as required
- To have a comprehensive up to date knowledge of the products on sale, together with details of competitor vehicles
- Ability to explain financing and leasing opportunities and conclude/ arrange relevant contracts
