The Citan’s interior provides comfortable surroundings and ideal working conditions. Comfort and practicality come together as one, impressing on every level from the moment you get in to the moment you get out. The height-adjustable steering wheel, the gearshift knob, the light switch and the buttons on the dashboard – arrangement, visual impression and functionality of the driver's workplace all meet the high standards that are customary for Mercedes-Benz
All controls are laid out ergonomically and within easy reach, and can be operated intuitively. The easy-to-read instrument cluster with shift point display encourages economical driving. Driver and front-passenger seats can be optionally equipped with a seat heating function. Passenger compartment and luggage compartment can both be equipped with optional dark-coloured foam-backed carpeting. With its pleasant feel and exclusive look the high-quality carpeting in the passenger / load compartment rounds off the attractive general impression of the vehicle interior.

When enjoyable driving dynamics, low fuel consumption and impressive handling all come together, driving is sheer pleasure. You can enjoy the Citan’s impressive agility and manoeuvrability in tight city traffic, and its high levels of torque on country roads.
In order for the Citan’s output to suit your needs, there is a range of advanced diesel engines with outputs of 75 hp (55 kW), 90 hp (66 kW) and 110 hp (81 kW) as well as an advanced 114 hp (84 kW) petrol engine to choose from.
All Citan Tourer models comply with the Euro 6 emissions standard for enhanced environmental responsibility. CDI engines are also equipped as standard with a diesel particulate filter.

Extensive safety equipment
When it comes to safety, the Citan Tourer is at the forefront, too. Safety equipment such as the standard ADAPTIVE ESP® Electronic Stability Programme, the daytime running lamps, the automatic hazard warning lamps activate upon emergency braking, the optional acoustic reversing aid, the standard heated and electrically-adjustable exterior mirrors and the optional light and rain sensor all ensure that you and your vehicle are perceived well on the road and in traffic.
