An exciting opportunity has arisen, we are now recruiting for an Graduate Accounts Assistant to join

our busy and vibrant team at our Longbenton depot.

Your role will be to assist the Management Accountant and Financial Controller in order to

ensure the production of accurate and timely management information.

Main duties:

You will be expected to provide Bell Trucks management with an adequate supply of information to ensure the present and future profitability of the organisation and to highlight any forthcoming issues. As well as this, you will maintain all administration processes for the business to ensure all debtors, creditors and stock are properly controlled. You will also need to ensure the daily system backups are carried out and act up on the systems daily error/reconciliation reports.

To assist in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts and to carry out any other duties as may be required by the Company/MBUK in order to assist the company achieve its objectives. You will maintain working capital reporting and vehicle cash flow as well as being responsible for supporting Credit card management. You will also support the management of expense’s & payments along with providing PL cover.

You will be processing contingency documents and filing duties, consolidate billing errors and be responsible for fuel analysis reporting. This includes providing Management of the fuel cards. You will also be overlooking our Tyne tunnel top ups, reporting Petty cash, assisting with raising manual invoices and recharges and vehicle receipts e-mails as well as Premier Inn reporting.

To attend company/MBUK meetings and training courses as and when appropriate and carry out all duties in an efficient and courteous manner and ensure all queries are dealt with promptly.

You will provide bank reconciliation cover and adhere to time schedules and all targets where appropriate. Also, you must ensure that all paperwork associated with the department is completed correctly and passed to the correct department on time.

The hours for this role are 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
